About this test

Autoantibody against Ro ribonucleoprotein. Found in Sjögren's syndrome and SLE. Crosses the placenta and can cause neonatal lupus and congenital heart block.

Clinical Interpretation

Low / Decreased
Negative reduces probability of Sjögren's and primary Sjögren's-associated complications.
High / Increased
Sjögren's syndrome, SLE, neonatal lupus (maternal antibody), subacute cutaneous lupus.
