Please read these Terms carefully before using this Site. By accessing or using Tests.ac, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not access or use the Site.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, “your”) and Tests.ac (“we”, “us”, “our”) governing your access to and use of the website located at tests.ac and all content, functionality, and services available at or through the Site (collectively, the “Site”).

By accessing the Site, you confirm that: (a) you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms; (b) you meet the age requirements set out in Section 5; and (c) you understand the educational and non-clinical nature of all content on the Site.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Nature of the Site — Educational Reference Only

Tests.ac is an educational, non-commercial reference resource providing general information about laboratory blood tests, indicative reference ranges, specimen types, and related laboratory data. All content on this Site is provided strictly for general educational and informational purposes only.

This Site does not provide medical advice, clinical diagnosis, or treatment recommendations of any kind. The information available on this Site must not be used as a substitute for professional medical judgement, clinical diagnosis, prescription, or treatment by a qualified and registered healthcare professional.

You expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • Use of this Site does not create or constitute a physician-patient, clinician-patient, pharmacist-patient, or any other professional-client relationship;
  • No content on this Site constitutes professional medical, clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, pharmaceutical, or health advice of any nature;
  • Reference ranges published on this Site are indicative and general in nature; actual reference intervals vary by laboratory, analytical method, patient population, age, sex, physiological state, and other clinical factors;
  • You will seek the advice of a qualified, registered healthcare professional before making any health-related decision based on information accessed through this Site;
  • In the event of a medical emergency, you will call your local emergency services immediately (999 in the UK; 911 in the USA; 112 in the EU) and not rely on information from this Site.

Reference range data and laboratory information may incorporate data derived from publicly available sources, professional guidelines, or published literature. Where third-party data is included, all reasonable steps are taken to ensure appropriate attribution, though we make no representation as to the current accuracy or completeness of such data. 4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Site in any way that:

  • Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation;
  • Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable;
  • Infringes the intellectual property rights of any person;
  • Involves transmitting unsolicited commercial communications or spam;

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TESTS.AC, ITS OPERATORS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS, AND DIRECTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF DATA, PERSONAL INJURY, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE OF ACTION AND WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

If you are accessing the Site from outside England and Wales, you are responsible for compliance with local laws to the extent they apply. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under the mandatory laws of your country or state of residence, including any rights you may have as a consumer under applicable law.

11. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from the Terms and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce such provision in the future.

12. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and Tests.ac with respect to your use of the Site and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
