Clinical Interpretation

Low / Decreased
Low FSH — central hypogonadism, hyperprolactinaemia.
High / Increased
Elevated FSH — premature ovarian insufficiency (POI), menopause, primary testicular failure, Klinefelter's, spermatogenic failure.
